Here's what we kept grinding on: Bite Inhibition. That's the actual work — most training weeks don't have a ribbon moment. The reps still count.
Solid indoors; dog park + trail distractions are a different story.
Strong at home. High-arousal environments (dog park, greetings) break the response.
Still building positive association — duration is short by design.
Current focus is Name response — working through 3-minute structured reps: 60 sec of Name response — 5 reps, reward each, then 60 sec of Name response — add a pause before reward. The R+ loop stays consistent: cue → mark → reward → praise, every rep. Still working on generalizing under stimulation — that's the honest part of the process and it takes time.
FetchCoach builds a curriculum for your dog,
keeps you consistent, and logs every rep.
